Hammers U16 Surge Team In First Place in Region 8 JPOL

Congratulations to our U16 Surge squad  for placing first in the Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL) in USA  Field Hockey Region 8 (Virginia & North Carolina) after 2 out of 3  weekends of play! 


The team racked up 4 wins the first  weekend of play Apr 13th & 14th beating Undertow from Richmond 12-0,  Charlotte Ambush from Charlotte, NC 2-0, Saints Field Hockey from VA  Beach 4-0 and then Charlotte Ambush again 2-0. 

The team went in  determined to hold their first place spot on Apr 27th & 28th beating  Metro Field Hockey from Loudoun 1-0, tying TCOYO Field Hockey from VA  Beach 0-0, tying Rampage Field Hockey from Fairfax 2-2 and finishing up  the weekend beating NOVA Xtreme from Fairfax 8-0. 

The girls are working hard at practice to head into finals on Jun 1st & 2nd when they  will play both Saints Field Hockey & Undertow again as well as Hawks  Field Hockey from the Norfolk VA area and Carolina All Stars from North  Carolina.
